The Piatnik Cabaret deck is one of my favorite art decks. Of course, I start by looking at the jokers which features roosters. Frankly, I don't understand why there are roosters on the jokers. I almost overlooked the beauty of the deck since I initially just saw the roosters which while nice are nothing special in my book.
But then I looked at the other cards in this deck. It's basically Toulouse-Lautrec and other artists from La Belle Epoch in Paris with their artwork of the dancers and girls.
Belle Epoch? Here's a quote from from bird playingcards.com (deck publisher) website where they talk about the Belle Epoque in France:
Here's more cards from the Cabaret deck. I love this artwork.
If you are interested, I think this deck is still available.
Next you should look through the other animal sections of the joker collection.
- Ensemble Animal combinations (cats AND dogs)
- Cats or Dogs . Now there's a big cat subsection!
- Flyers: Birds, Owls, Bees, Butterflies & Dragons . Now there's a rooster & chicken subsubsection!

- Fantasy horses: centaurs, unicorns, pegasus
- Monkeys, bears, and others with paws
- Animals with antlers, horns, and tusks. Elephants too!
- Varmints - the annoying small wild animals
- Reptiles, amphibians, sea creatures

Thanks for your input and for reading and thinking about jokers.
